What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is a non-invasive therapy that uses muscle testing to get feedback as to stress or blockages affecting the individual.
Kinesiology aims to bring the body back into balance by identifying and correcting stress patterns held within the body and energetic field. Stress does not have to be only physical - it can also be mental, emotional or spiritual and if left untreated, in time, can manifest as disease. Healing techniques vary and may include acupressure, sound healing, crystals, essences, chakra and energetic healing or any other corrections as indicated by the muscle feedback. No two sessions are the same and even if a client is presenting with the same symptom, the cause and healing approach can be different. Each person is unique and so is their session.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a form of energetic healing. High vibrational energy is channeled and directed through the palms, using a combination of hands-off and hands-on throughout the session. The energy can help facilitate healing and bring in a state of calmness and relaxation.
Please note that both Reiki and Kinesiology are not substitutes for Western Medicine, but are complementary therapies to aid in the wellness journey.
How many sessions will I need?
This is hard to say as it all depends on how long the issue has been presenting and the willingness to move forward and through it. Acute conditions may only take a few sessions, however with chronic conditions, there may be numerous layers that need to be dealt with over several months or longer. This does not mean you won’t be feeling the benefits of Kinesiology during the process though, and after 6 sessions you should be noticing change.
Kinesiology is not a process that is rushed and adequate time is needed between sessions for integration and homework.
Sessions are always conducted at a pace with which you are comfortable and the timeframe between sessions is unique to each person.
Reiki benefits should be felt from the first session.
How long is a session?
Reiki Sessions are 45 minutes
Kinesiology sessions are 90 minutes.
